Night in the Tropics Raises Nearly $300,000 for the National Aviary

The National Aviary’s 16th Annual Night in the Tropics sold out with 1,300 party-​goers on Saturday, July 21st. Guests enjoyed delicious food from over 30 restaurants, tropical cocktails, wine and craft beer as they mingled with colorful birds and enjoyed entertainment including a fire performance, live music and more.

“From Garden to Mexican Table — A Gala Tribute to Rick Bayless” raised $260,000 for Pittsburgh Botanic Garden. Held at the Pennsylvanian on Thursday, June 14, the event drew 350 attendees. The seated dinner — following a presentation to Rick Bayless — was crafted by a group of the city’s finest chefs led by Bill Fuller and Justin Severino.
