Bart Solarczyk is a lifelong resident of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Over the past forty years, his poems have been published in a variety of places. "Empty Hands" is included in his most recent full-length poetry collection, Carried Where We Go (Redhawk Publications). A number of poems in this book address grief, loss, & loneliness as the author struggles to cope with the sudden death of his wife in April of 2020.
