Black & White Gala Raises $165,000 for Family House

Family House hosted its annual Black & White Gala on Saturday, April 6 at J. Verno Studios. 250 of Pittsburgh’s top community and industry leaders attended in their best black and white attire.
The event featured dinner, drinks and dancing in support of Family House’s mission to provide a “home away from home” to 24,000+ guests each year who travel to Pittsburgh seeking medical care.
Food and drinks were provided by Big Burrito Catering Group, WTAE’s Chris Lovingood served as emcee, and Rudy and the Professionals provided live entertainment. The event, which also included a raffle, a wine pull and a grand prize trip to Mexico, raised $165,000 for Family House and was co-presented by UPMC and UPMC Health Plan.
