The Pittsburgh Metropolitan Area’s unemployment rate — seasonally adjusted — decreased a total of 6.1 percentage points from June 2020 to June 2021 to 6.3 percent.
Pittsburgh’s unemployment rate was higher than the benchmark average of 5.1 percent and was the second-highest unemployment rate of all benchmark regions in November.
