On Saturday, November 10, members, supporters, and friends of the Pittsburgh Cultural Trust came together for the first-ever “Promenade in the Pavilion,” enjoying an elegant, European-style picnic (albeit indoors!) inside one of Pittsburgh’s most iconic buildings.

Held at The Pennsylvanian, this fundraising event featured an elaborate strolling dinner, cozy hideaways for guests, and live entertainment that transported guests to a stylish European villa — including caricature artists, jugglers, a jazz trio, and painted dancers posing as garden statues.

Co-chaired by Kate Koop-Irwin and Khip Irwin, and Christy and BJ Blose, and presented by UPMC Health Plan, the Promenade brought together a diverse mix of Pittsburgh’s most stylish people.

While enjoying the festive atmosphere, and breathtaking setting, guests enjoyed camaraderie, conversation, and the chance to learn more about the Trust and its continuing role in revitalizing Pittsburgh’s Cultural District. Promenade in the Pavilion was supported by LUXE Creative. More than 225 people were in attendance.
