The Immaculate Reception Collection

To mark the 50 anniversary of the “Immaculate Reception,” Pittsburgh-based artist Dino Guarino has created a series of paintings that capture the entire play.    The famous Franco Harris catch provided the spark that ignited the Pittsburgh Steelers dynasty, and Guarino’s series of seven paintings grew from a series of conversations he had with the Hall of Fame Steeler.   The result is “The Immaculate Reception Collection- 22 seconds to a Dynasty.”   The hand- painted original canvases depict the play from start to finish. Each unique piece is 48″ x 30″ oil on canvas. The original paintings were signed by both the Artist and Franco Harris upon the completion of the artwork. The paintings will be offered for sale to a corporate or private collection with the hope that they can make their way to a public venue that will allow people to enjoy the famous play though fine art. A limited edition of 32 smaller prints of each image on canvas also are available at $1,295 each,  Additionally, prints on paper will be available for $595 each.
