Passport to Elegance Soiree Features Vintage Automobiles and Airplanes
The Voyager Jet Center at the Allegheny County Airport was the host venue of the second Pittsburgh Vintage Grand Prix Passport to Elegance Jet Center Party on July 12, 2018. The guests at this red carpet luxury bash, held in the unique venue of the 18,000 square foot airplane hangar, were greeted to a weather-perfect evening and fine company.
The soiree contained everything the discerning party-goer was looking for and featured rare, exotic and vintage automobiles and airplanes. Some of the notable featured were the WWII Bomber the B-17 Yankee Lady, three BMW 507s, the RC Cola Porsche 962 formula one racing car and the BMW 2002 featured as the PVGP’s poster car for the 2018 Marque of the Year.
Event chairs, Susan Gera and Eric Zagrocki, were excited to add a “wine grab” charity fundraiser to the evening. Wines were donated by Mazza Winery of Erie and one lucky winner “grabbed” a pair of round trip tickets to Paris, compliments of Delta Airlines. International Food Stations where set up throughout the venue and guests were educated by Palate Partners School of Wine and Spirits on wines paired with the flavor of the Regional food station.
