Total Foreclosures

In September 2013, the foreclosure rate in the Pittsburgh Metropolitan Statistical Area fell to 4 percent, down 1.1 percentage points over the same period last year and slightly above the benchmark average of 3.9 percent. The percent of seriously delinquent loans also dropped 1.2 percentage points year-over-year to 6.7 percent in September 2013, below the benchmark average of 7 percent.
