Exports Per Private Sector Worker

The U.S. Department of Commerce publishes information on exports for major Metropolitan Statistical Areas of the United States. Data for 2012 show a slight decrease in exports from the Pittsburgh region compared to total exports from the region in 2011. Coal, steel and chemicals are the Pittsburgh region’s three principal export products.
