Energy Employment

The Economy Committee is developing new energy indicators, beginning with employment, establishments, wages, and coal production. There is no energy industry classification, and there are different definitions of the energy sector. These indicators include data on industries most directly tied to the energy sector. Future energy indicators may include research and development expenditures and venture capital.
